The DREAMING project was presented at the Global Telehealth 2010 Conference in Perth Australia this November. A small report on summarizing the events and on the value created for DREAMING can be seen by clicking here.
The conference was quite well organized and highly relevant for DREAMING. It was particularly important to show how similar the projects in Australia are to those we are running here in the EU. From what it can be seen out there, it would therefore highly be recommended that the European projects collaborate more actively with the Australasian countries. This could potentially reveal windows of opportunity for several European firms interested in expanding to Australasia.
Also attached the "Telehealth Research Across the Community - Remote Monitoring of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease" report, from the Australian Silver Chain Organization. Silver chain introduced the interesting results of the report on the conference and presented how they commercially have used a product developed in an EU project. You can see the report by clicking here.
Moreover, a scientific article was presented at the Global Telehealth 2010 Conference, as well as for publication in the Global Telehealth 2010 Program Handbook. The paper presents the DREAMING project. It focuses on the initial results and experiences drawn from the Danish implementation phase and brings information on barriers, challenges, and successes.
